Engel Muñoz is a Madrid-based VFX Producer, Post-Production Coordinator and compositor, and the founder of WE ARE UNKNOWN.

He works between creative ambition, technical decisions and people—so every project moves with clarity. His practice spans advertising, fashion films, music videos and live experiences, from on-set supervision to final compositing, finishing and masters.

His work combines a production-minded view of post with hands-on VFX: cleanup, tracking, keying, integration and finishing. He brings the same precision to schedules, turnovers, formats, approvals and the conversations that keep a project moving.

He began working independently as a compositor in 2022, developing through collaborations with Click VFX, Somos Nitro, We Are Carmina and DRKT Studios. That path—from hands-on craft to production leadership— shapes the way he builds teams and protects the final image.

Alongside post-production, he develops stage and visual systems for live work—screen content, visual direction, build, installation and strike—connecting the image on screen with the space around it.
